Don’t Forget Daddy by Theresa Franklin is a delightful book to read to any young child experiencing change in the family dynamics whether it is through divorce, remarriage or the death of a parent, especially in respect to loss of a father.

Author Theresa Franklin, writes with heartfelt compassion by addressing these delicate subjects in a creative way that will help identify any feelings that a child may be holding on to in their emotions. By opening up the lines of communication, this book will allow a child going through similar circumstances to be able to share their feelings. This book offers wonderful solutions to any young child on how to cope with the change in the family.

The short story opens with Ashley, a young child, sitting and conversing with a man who has become mommy’s friend. She likes him, but does not know how to feel about him because she doesn’t want to forget her daddy. With colorful illustrations and an easy to read dialogue your child will be able to understand this book as Ashley accepts her new daddy, and her new life with wonderful excitement. We find out through the book that change is okay and can be a good thing for all the parties involved.

With the divorce rate being close to 50 percent these days, many young children have to adapt to the loss of a parent and/or a new stepparent. Change is not easy, especially when you don’t understand why it is happening. To a child this can be devastating and as parents it is imperative that these issues are addressed along with any feelings a child might have towards the change in the family dynamics. This book will help you do just that in a loving and compassionate way.

Don’t forget Daddy is also a recommended book for parents or physiologists that want to open the dialogue between parent and child. This book can be used as a tool for parents or professionals to address a child’s feelings whatever they may be towards the change in the family dynamics. It would be a perfect book for the mother who is remarrying with young children. I read it to my 6 year old daughter and all she could say was, “Again, again!” She loved it and I look forward to more books from this talented author that address issues with children and their feelings!

This pro-life Christian fiction novel will touch your heart and cause you to ponder one of today's most controversial and profound issues - the lives of the unborn. A fiction novel that is interwoven with life, truth and realities of monumental proportion.

The author's writing style will keep you hanging on the edge of your seat coupled with an expectancy of what the next page, character or chapter will bring. There are no idle sections to be found in this book which flows from one page to the next. You will not be able to put the book down as each situation unfolds and the next is birthed. Here are some basic must do's that I recommend to all authors with regards to marketing their books, both Christian and secular.

1st: You must have a Authors Website or blog that showcases you as a author, your book, that shares about your book, where and how to order it and how to contact you as author.

2nd: You must have a professional book review service review your book and write a professional book review. Here is a hint, make sure that you use a Christian Book Review service and not a secular book review service.

3rd: You must create a online presence so that book lovers can find you and your book. This is where your authors website or blog comes into play, however, you must market your site also. While you can perform some of the marketing yourself by joining various author book related sites, you must also set a budget aside for a book marketing campaign.

4th: Authors business cards and book markers are another great marketing tool. Be sure to place your book title, ISBN number, and website address on them along with other information. I recomend starting with Vista Print.

5th: Creating and marketing. Let me say that again. Creating and MARKETING a book trailer that showcases your book in another powerful way to promote and market your book.

6th: You must pursue book signings at local bookstores, churches and wherever God may open doors for you. Even as your reading this post, authors, publishers, and marketing firms are all creating marketing concepts to launch their own book or a clients book. Many authors ask me what is the key to success? My first answer is always educate yourself. Find what works best for you as a author and your book. Find that arena that best fits. If your a Christian author, market the Christian Marketplace. If your book is about the Great Outdoors, market people that are into camping, hiking, and out doors. If your book is about great foods and cooking, then that is your market. Start with the basics. Find your market ...

Author Promotions Using The Internet

In this economy many authors are choosing the self promoting route. While most author promotions and book marketing experts don't recommend this, there's no doubt that there has been a increase in the self promoting author and especially those that have self published. If that's you, I encourage you to take the time and do your homework before jumping into the marketing arena. While it may seem easy, one soon finds out that it's not, few find success and it's very time consuming.
